- In 2002 there are 5 male and 5 female WCT surfers competing on the world professional tour who have completed several years of training with Martin. [ Beau Emerton, Trent Munroe, Darren O’Rafferty, Phil Macdonald, Lee Winkler - Neridah Falconer, Kate
Skarret, Samantha Cornish, Amee Donohue, Chelsea Georgeson ]
- As at 2001, 11 surfers trained by Martin have won World Grommet Titles out of 37 individual titles contested.
- Martin has coached 5 American junior surfers to US national junior titles.
- He has:
- been a professional surfing coach for 17 years
- holds a Sports Science Diploma
- has been New South Wales state coach 10x
- Australian coach 1x
