Pro surf training on Indian beaches
SurfCoach Pro combines in-water coaching, video analysis of your paddling and turns, and land-based conditioning plans. Sessions are built for intermediate and advanced surfers who want measurable progress in speed, balance, and endurance. Start with an initial assessment and train with certified instructors.

We work with intermediate and advanced surfers. You should be comfortable paddling out on your own, catching unbroken waves, and riding green faces consistently. If you are still learning to pop up or mostly ride whitewater, our program is not the right fit yet. During the initial assessment we confirm your level and place you in the right training group.
We film your paddling, takeoff, bottom turn, and a few maneuvers from the beach or a jet ski, depending on the break. Then we review the footage together on a tablet right after your session. You get frame-by-frame breakdowns of your weight distribution, rail pressure, and arm position, plus a short list of drills to work on before the next session.
You can bring your own board, but we also have a small quiver of performance shortboards and step-ups for rent during coaching days. Wetsuits are rarely needed for Indian water temperatures, though a rash guard is recommended. If you are unsure which board suits the day's conditions, we help you choose before you go out.
We run a separate dry-land block focused on paddling strength, shoulder stability, core rotation, and ankle mobility. These sessions use resistance bands, bodyweight circuits, and balance boards. The goal is to build the specific muscles that keep you stable through turns and help you last longer in a session without losing form.
Every four weeks we repeat a short set of benchmark drills: paddling sprints, pop-up timing, and a scored maneuver sequence on a chosen wave. We compare the video and timing data from your first assessment to track improvements in speed, balance, and endurance. You receive a simple progress card that shows where you gained and what still needs attention.
If there are no rideable waves, we switch the session to land-based conditioning, video review of previous sessions, or a beach safety walk that covers currents and sandbar shifts. We do not charge extra for the swap, and we reschedule the water session to the next day with swell if your schedule allows. Contact us through the help page if you need to adjust a booking.
Most surf coaching stops at generic tips. We build a structured program around your current level, the waves you ride, and the specific weaknesses holding back your progress.
We film your paddling, takeoff, and turns from the beach and in the water. Reviewing the footage together reveals timing issues you cannot feel while riding, so corrections stick faster.
Paddling endurance, pop-up speed, and balance all improve on dry land. Our conditioning plans target the shoulders, core, and legs with exercises that translate directly to the lineup.
Sandbars shift, tides change, and each break has its own rhythm. We teach you how to pick the right peak, time your entry, and avoid the sections that close out too fast.
Our coaches hold recognized surf instructor certifications and track your development against clear benchmarks. You will know exactly when you are ready for the next level of maneuvers.
Riding the wrong board stalls your learning. We help you match volume, rocker, and fin setup to your weight and the typical wave size at your local break.
Rip currents, reef awareness, and paddle-out strategy are part of every program. You learn to assess conditions before you enter the water, not after trouble starts.
Your first session starts with a 20-minute video review of your paddling and turns, followed by a short in-water assessment. From there we build a plan around your current level and the waves you ride most.
